Last Day of Class

Today was my last day of college before finals begin next week. Hopefully I can get some productive studying in this weekend to prepare. Wish me luck

Taxes

First, I want to thank Amy for helping me file my taxes. Without her I would have had no idea what I was doing. She's the accountant and at times she was a bit confused. There were a lot of extra forms I had to fill out since I am considered and independent contractor with Blaige. We were up until around 1:30 doing these stupid things. I know I am a procrastinator, but what are you going to do about it. I just felt bad because she missed out on some studying time. When I get back from New Orleans I will have to take her out to dinner.

I ended up having to pay Uncle Sam a hefty some of money in the end. Hopefully our government uses my hard earned money for a good cause. The tax payer is always getting their pockets picked. Like for example with all these banks that have used the tax payer's money to bail themselves out. Now some of them are charging higher fees! That's how they repay us. Frustrating. The whole idea kind of pisses me off. Actually.

Anyway, I have a busy night ahead of myself again. Brittany and I are leaving for New Orleans tomorrow on a 11 am flight. It is not too early, but with early morning traffic we are going to have to plan ahead. Luckily Brittany's friend Angie has offered to give us a ride. I also have a meeting with Apartment People at 6 tonight. If they even show me horrible places I will be mad. It seems you tell them what you are looking for and they show you the complete opposite. I haven't even started packing yet and I have the Blues first playoff game tonight against Vancouver. I would like to catch at least part of the game.
