Dexter

Dexter and The Office are the only two shows I really look forward to watching. Dexter, I can only watch when I go home because it is on Showtime, but luckily The Office is on NBC. The Office is the funniest show out there and I was really disappointed when 30 Rock took home all of the awards this year, because that show is not funny at all. I am trying to get Brittany into Dexter so I can re-watch the 1st season with her, but so far she is a no go. Maybe if I put some time into Grey's or The Bachelor she'll watch a little with me. I mean what is not to love about a serial killer governed by an ambiguous moral code who works for the Miami Metro Police Department as a blood spatter analyst? Sounds pretty fascinating to me!

My Last 2 Weeks at Crunch
These past two weeks I have been working out with Brittany at Crunch. She had a free two week pass for me since she is a member. It is a really nice week, but I now I will have to resort to Loyola's gym, which is sub par. I would join Crunch, but they are not offering the deal they gave Brittany when she signed up, and I do not believe it would be worth doing at this time. They do have a boxing ring and boxing classes that I would like to try out, but maybe some other time. I had a pretty good workout today and was looking forward to playing some hockey to supplement the workout, but Nick wimped out on me because he had to study. Just kidding Nick; I know that test is really important.
I am looking forward to going home next weekend. I feel I wasn't home long enough over Christmas and it went by really quickly. I am also hopefully looking forward to some home cooking.

Paper, Rock, Scissors, Shoot
Brittany and I have an easy way to decide on things; we play paper, rock, scissors. We even play to decide who has to decide what we are going to do or where/what we are going to eat. In order to win, and thus making the other the decider, one of us has to win two best out of three games. When we first started playing for fun I would win all of the time. I would sometimes let Brittany win because I felt so bad. It wasn't until we started using the game as a decider that I hit my funk. I would literally lose every single game. Me, being the undescisive person that I am, could not let this go on. So I finally took two seconds and figured out Brittany's strategy. Now I win a lot more often and she decided that she does not like to play the game to decide the more important things. Typical. I guess I do have more to write about than my dental habits.

2009
So this isn't only my first post in 2009, but it is my first post in about 2 months. Whoops. I find it hard to blog about my daily life in comparison to everyone else seems, who seem to have something to say about everything. I have been relatively busy with school, work, and the gym but I do not think people want to hear about how my workouts go. Anyone interested in learning about how to value a company, determine the WACC or APV, know what I am eating for lunch? Probably not. Maybe this means I need to spruce up my life a little bit and find some interesting things to do during my free time. I am sure there are plenty of things Brittany and I could experience that do not involve a smelly gym or popcorn. My New Years resolution was to make sure to brush, floss, and use mouthwash every night, but maybe I need to change it to trying something new once in awhile. Maybe I will try live my life in resemblance to Jim Carrey in Yes Man(a movie I haven't nor intend on seeing)and say yes to everything); unless it is something ridiculous.
